Health Insurance
Caregivers seeking advice are first encouraged to visit their primary family physician for a comprehensive medical evaluation. Insurance companies in the state of California are mandated to cover ABA services.
Every health insurance plan is different in the benefits provided and the costs: We will help you understand and navigate the process, determine what services are available, and help you get the required authorizations.
Intercare is in-network with many health insurance companies including those listed below.
Don't see your insurance provider listed? Call and speak to our Insurance Specialist, as we are regularly adding more health insurance companies to all of our locations.
School Districts
Many of our families are referred to us from School Districts.
Since the passing of The Education for All Handicapped Children Act in 1975, which was later renamed the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in 1990, children with developmental disabilities, such as autism and other behavioral and developmental disorders, have been eligible to receive services from school districts under this legislation passed in 2004.
In-Home/Private Pay
Families may opt to personally pay for their ABA services out-of-pocket.
Families seeking in-home services may contact us at any time to schedule an assessment, which may be completed at our clinic or at your home.
