Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
All of our services are based on the principles of ABA.
ABA is an evidence-based approach utilizing individualized treatment plans, derived from standardized assessments, which use established milestones of typical development to determine the treatment goals. Our clinicians work to decrease challenging behaviors and teach new skills to increase desired behavior.
The following domains are targeted through our services in home, community, and clinic settings:
At Intercare, clinic-based ABA therapy is offered through two specialized programs: Intercare Early (ages 0–6) and Intercare Beyond (ages 7+).
Intercare Early provides a preschool-like setting where young children learn foundational skills like communication, social interaction, and school readiness through small group instruction and engaging activities such as circle time, sensory play, and music.
Intercare Beyond supports older children in small peer groups, focusing on collaboration, social growth, and adaptive skills through structured play, games, and age-appropriate activities.
Both programs are led by trained interventionists and behavior analysts, offering individualized attention, peer engagement, and a nurturing environment where children can develop confidence and independence.
Home-Based & Community ABA Therapy
Home-based services provide guidance and assistance to children and young adults with developmental disabilities. Services assist in acquiring essential daily life skills for success both at home and within the community. Our approach is rooted in naturalistic treatment methods that are backed by evidence, centered around one-on-one interactions, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Telehealth ABA Therapy
Telehealth (also known as telemedicine) is a service that allows patients to get the professional care they need from their own homes.
Telehealth is a way to increase access to care for patients who find it difficult to travel to a clinic for in-person sessions.

Insurance companies in the state of California are mandated to cover ABA services.

Don't see your insurance provider listed? Call and speak to our Insurance Specialist, as we are regularly adding more health insurance companies to all of our locations.
School Districts
Many of our families are referred to us from School Districts.
Since the passing of The Education for All Handicapped Children Act in 1975, which was later renamed the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in 1990, children with developmental disabilities, such as autism and other behavioral and developmental disorders, have been eligible to receive services from school districts under this legislation passed in 2004.
Private Pay
Families may opt to personally pay for their ABA services out-of-pocket.
Families seeking in-home services may contact us at any time to schedule an assessment, which may be completed at our clinic or at your home.
